Anuj Ashar is an aerospace engineer, startup founder and multi-award-winning tech entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for space innovation. He founded Asteria Space to tackle one of the biggest challenges in the industry - supporting early-stage space-tech ventures through the critical first steps of commercialisation.

With a background in space-technology, AI and venture building, Anuj has founded and scaled numerous technology companies, securing public and private funding, and also mentored deep-tech startups across the UK and Europe. He has been recognised by international organisations including the United Nations, Forbes, University of Leicester for his achievements and has supported dozens of high-growth companies through work with Innovate UK as a specialist advisor to space-tech founders.

Anuj has won multiple awards including being the youngest ever on the Leicestershire 30 Under 30 list and was a Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist 2024 at the GBEA.

Additionally, Anuj is an advisor to the government on national innovation and sits on a number of charity boards as a trustee. He is also an active public speaker in the space-tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation community.
